Ariane Maclean has lived in many neighborhoods across San Francisco from Presidio Heights to Bernal Heights and has been deeply involved in community volunteerism within the city. Her track record in working with people on a personal level to achieve their goals is a strong foundation for her success in residential real estate. Ariane sees a client relationship as an ongoing one that does not end with the close of escrow. She makes helping to manage the many questions and tasks that clients face before, during and after the transaction a fundamental part of the job. Whether you are a first-time home buyer or a seasoned real estate investor looking to sell or purchase a new property, Ariane's approach is the same: communicate consistently, always be ethical, and work as diligently as possible in her client's best interests. All this translates into making the transaction as smooth as possible. Ariane provides clear timelines, negotiation and marketing strategies along the way to guide clients through the process of buying or selling with ease. As a member of one of the top-producing sales teams within Vanguard Properties, Ariane has a solid support system bringing the strength, experience and outreach of three agents to every transaction.

Prior to joining Vanguard, Ariane spent five years as the San Francisco Director of Gen Art, an arts organization that supports emerging artists across the country. She also worked for eleven years in magazine publishing in New York City, at publications including Vanity Fair, Bon Appetit and Conde Nast Traveler.

Ariane is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the California Association of Realtors (CAR) and the San Francisco Association of Realtors (SFAR), the Modern Arts Council (MAC) for SFMOMA, the Board of Directors for the Achenbach Council for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children in the Bay Area. She has been an active volunteer and fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, was a member of the Junior League for ten years and is a founding member of the Director's Council for the Merchants House Museum, a member of the Historic House Trust in New York City.

Ariane provides all new clients with a comprehensive consultation to review the process of buying or selling a home and to explain the extensive efforts she and her team makes toward meeting their clients' needs and helping them to obtain the best deal possible.
